Graduation Fees

Graduation Fees must be paid at the Student Accounting Office on the ESSC ground floor before submitting all graduation forms in person to the Graduate School (include a copy of receipt with application). Alternatively, you may include a check (payable to UNT) if you mail your application forms to the Graduation Office (see address below). Please fill in the appropriate amounts on the Registrar's Office Card (1/2 sheet) prior to paying fees. This office cannot accept unpaid or incomplete application materials.

• Graduation Fee must be paid at the Student Accounting Office on the Eagle Student Services Center ground floor before submitting all graduation forms to the Graduate School (include a copy of receipt with application) or include check (payable to UNT) if mailing forms to the Graduation Office. Please fill in the appropriate amounts on the Registrar's Office Card prior to paying fees. This office cannot accept unpaid or incomplete application materials.
• Master's degree, Non-thesis: No fee*
• Master's degree, Thesis 5950: $20 archiving, $45 microfilming
• Doctoral degree, Dissertation 6950: $20 archiving, $55 microfilming
  • $25 late processing fee is applicable after the first deadline

Notes:

• The optional copyright registration fee ($65) and/or optional Open Access fee ($95) should be submitted directly to ProQuest.

• UNT cannot accept the copyright registration fee or bound copy orders; additionally, UNT cannot accept payment for the new "Open Access" (OA) program.
• The UNT Libraries copy of the thesis or dissertation will be available to all users. In order to restrict the UNT Libraries copy for a finite period of time, major professors may make a formal appeal on their student's behalf to the Graduate School Dean.

Your application will be accepted for processing if and only if:

• Your application is complete with appropriate fees paid;
• You have a current 3.00 overall GPA; and
• A copy of an approved degree plan from your department is included with your application.
