- Some UNT programs might have earlier deadlines.
- For top scholarship consideration, apply to the UNT graduate school by December 1 for the following fall semester.
- For general application, we recommend you apply at least two months before the semester of enrollment. Some departmental programs may have earlier deadlines.
1 Fill out the Second Bachelors Degree application.
The application fee is $50 (fee increases to $60 for applications for Fall 2010 and after). Late applications will be accepted but a $25 late fee will be assessed during late registration for course enrollment.
2 Request official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended.
Contact the registrar’s office at each institution. Most institutions will send transcripts directly to us. Or, submit the unopened transcripts you already have using the following addresses:

The transcripts must show you have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and earned the required grade point:
GPA requirement for UNT consideration:
a 2.0 GPA or higher on all undergraduate work
Students with lower GPAs may be eligible for admission under certain conditions or if they are seeking a second bachelor’s degree. More information is available in the graduate catalog.
