Apply for Graduation

Graduation applications are due early in the semester in which the student plans to graduate. Specific filing deadlines are included in the University Academic Calendar.

It is the responsibility of the student to file the appropriate degree application in the office of the Graduate School (Room 354, Eagle Student Services Center.) Graduation packets are available in the Graduate School office M-F, 8:00-5:00. Applications are also available at the After Hours Desk M-Th, 5:00-7:00.

Graduate students wishing to graduate who are unable to pick up graduation materials in person are encouraged to call the Graduate School (940-565-2383) and request that they be sent by mail. Due to the nature of the application forms, applications for graduation are currently not available on-line.

An approved degree plan must be on file with the Graduate School when an application to graduate is submitted. A copy of the degree plan (supplied by the student's department) must be submitted with the graduation application.
